About this data
These pages come from the City of Salinas NetFile public portal's exports of e-filed campaign data for 2025 and 2026 (export files dated 2026-09-25). They cover statement periods through 2026-09-19; some committees' latest statement ends earlier.
Reports filed after the export, including the second pre-election statements and later 24-hour reports, are not included, and neither are paper-only filings. Check the City's portal for newer filings.
The site's other finance pages, such as the Money Trail, cover earlier filings from 2024 and 2025 and are a separate dataset.
How to read these numbers
- , , , , , , and are separate measures. They are never added together.
- Later reported receipts are contributions reported on Form 497 after a committee's latest full statement. They are shown separately, not added to the statement totals.
- Loans and in-kind contributions are shown separately from monetary contributions.
- Ending cash, itemized unpaid bills and outstanding debt are balances at the end of a statement period, not totals over time.
- is the span of dates that a committee's statements cover. It differs by committee.
- Each full statement is checked against its own summary page. The check status on each committee page says whether it was .
- Four candidates on the City's roster have no matched committee in these exports. Their figures are shown as , not zero.
- Individual contributors below the disclosure threshold are into one row per committee and year, with their names withheld.

Figures come from campaign statements that committees filed with the City of Salinas, as exported from its NetFile portal. Each measure is kept separate, and amounts are rounded to whole dollars.
